Raffle results
Due to the Testnet network restart on Friday 18th at 12:00, we've extended this incentive and it ended on 25th February 2022. Here is the list of all winners from the raffle on 3rd March 2022. How to claim your tokens
After 11th March 2022, winners will be able to get a token claim link by logging onto the token rewards website with the Twitter account used to register for Fairground Incentives (this is the Twitter handle on the list above). You will be asked to confirm your country of residence - unfortunately those in restricted countries will not be able to claim tokens.
This is a unique, one time use link, and not specific to any individual so it can be used by anyone to claim tokens. Please treat it with the same security as you would a token. Unfortunately Vega cannot rectify any mistakes, lost links, or links that have already been used. You know the drill!
How to participate in the incentive
To successfully complete this incentive, you need to:
- Deposit testnet Vega as asset to your (hosted) wallet
- Propose a free-form governance proposal via API call
- Propose a network parameter change
- Vote on a parameter change proposal from someone else.

GUIDANCE AND TIPS
The easiest way to programmatically connect to the Vega Fairground testnet is via our sample-api-scripts and to either execute these via a Gitpod virtual environment or on your local machine (please see instructions). We recommend using a Vega hosted wallet for this incentive if you are using GitPod. Please make sure, you are using the same wallet for your Twitter registration as you are using for running the scripts.
Get your web hosted wallet ready and deposit Vega (testnet) here: https://console.fairground.wtf/wallet/create (Use as wallet location: https://wallet.testnet.vega.xyz/api/v1/ and pick username & password to your liking).
Then deposit testnet Vega via: Deposit/Withdraw -> Vega (testnet) Deposit / Withdraw -> Deposit -> Get VEGA (opens Metamask) -> confirm Metamask and wait for Ropsten transaction -> type 5 in "How much to deposit" and click 'Deposit 5 VEGA'.
In case, you have just created this web hosted wallet and didn't participate, register your web wallet as described here: https://fairground.wtf/how-to-register-for-incentives
- Visit https://docs.fairground.vega.xyz/docs/api-howtos and click the small Gitpod 'ready-to-code' button. Follow the instructions and update the credentials file with your webhosted testnet wallet, for example:
WALLET_NAME="vegaarne99"
WALLET_PASSPHRASE="securep4ssword"
Now run the command: $ source credentials and you are good to go to run all sample scripts! - Change the content of your freeform government proposal and run the script propose-freeform/propose-vote-enact-freeform.py with python.
- Play around with other scripts, if you like :)
- Go to https://console.fairground.wtf/trading and search for 'Propose form' and follow the instructions. On console, you can also see open proposals and vote on them.
How to claim your tokens

All tokens have a 12 month linear vesting starting on 3rd September 2021. All tokens, either locked or vested, can be staked on the Vega network once it is live.
How do I register for incentives?
If you are registered already for our last incentive and are still using the same wallet you are automatically registered for this incentive as well.
If you are new (or you changed your VEGA wallet), you will need to tweet a message with a signature from your 0.9.2 (or later) Vega Wallet.
Instructions on how to do this are here.
Once signed up you will see your Twitter handle on the registrations page within 30 minutes, this is the confirmation that you have successfully registered.

Rules
- Breaking things is encouraged! Tell us how you broke them and we may give you a tip if it’s found to be a critical bug. Demonstrate exactly how to reproduce it here. Include screenshots/code snippets in as much detail as possible to be eligible for a tip.
- The Vega project reserves the right to not reward participants that are not participating in the community spirit of the incentive programs i.e. botting to collect as many rewards as possible.
- In the event of unforeseen issues and/or a network crash (or essential reset) we will either restart the event OR track and reward those that participated successfully. The course of action will depend on the unforeseen issue. If you miss out, don’t worry, there are many more incentives planned for the coming weeks and months.
- Attempting to create multiple entries by changing twitter handles, having multiple personal accounts, using bot or farmed twitter accounts or by any other means will result in disqualification from this, and any future, incentives.
- The winners of the rewards from the raffle will be determined algorithmically in a livestream.
- The outcome of the raffle will be determined by Gobalsky Labs Limited alone and In the event of any dispute, its decision shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into relating to such decision.
